The CMS Cares Committee was formed in 2021 in an effort to support equity within our school.
The Committee works closely with CMS staff such as the Home-School Liaison, School Nurse, and Psychologist to identify students in need of any services, items, or accommodations that would support a CMS student’s success at school. This includes supporting the Family Place Market at Concord Housing Authority at 19 Jennings Drive.
CMS Cares Response to Food Security Needs
In response to increase food security needs as a result of the government shutdown, the CMS Cares Committee and Family Market have prepared the following information for our families and community members:
- Supplemental Food Benefit Memo
- Community Resource and Social Services list

Anyone can! Even though the Market was started to support CMS Families, anyone with or without children in the Concord School District can shop during open hours.
No qualifying information is required to access the Market. You will be asked for the number of people in your household and their ages and then be given an identifier. Every time you shop, you will be asked for your identifier. Only the number of households per month and ages of individuals is collected.
